Golf starts the year off with victory vs. Union

The Wolverines Golf team teed off the 2022-2023 Sports Season for Ellwood City and the team did not disappoint. A 223-259 victory of the Union Scotties at Delmar early this morning starts not only Ellwood City Sports 1-0, but also a run of 4 matches for the golf team before the school year begins.

Leading the way for the Wolverines was Colten Crizer who posted a solid 43 on the day while Jordan Keller, Nathan Williams, and Mitch Covert all posted 44.

The Wolverines will now look towards a scrimmage on Monday vs. Beaver falls before returning to regular season action on Wednesday (8/17) 9:00 AM vs. New Castle at Delmar. Ellwood City Sports will have coverage and results.
