Wolverines Lose to Farrell
Although Isiah Leos-Coleman put seven points on the scoreboard, Ellwood City fell to Farrell 87-32.
With a game-high 10 points during the second quarter, Wolverines finished the first half strong.
Leos-Coleman led the Wolverines’ offense with seven points, including five during the fourth period. He also contributed two rebounds and one block.
Also chipping in for Ellwood City were Ryan Gibbons (5 points, 2 rebounds), Broc Boariu (5 points, 1 rebound), Rocco Sesti (3 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block), Danny Ditri (3 points, 1 rebound), Alexander Roth (3 points, 1 rebound), Milo Sesti (2 points, 1 rebound), and Steve Antuono (2 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal). Nathan Coonfare was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up five rebounds and three blocks.
Ellwood City finished the game with 22 rebounds (9 offensive / 13 defensive), five blocks and five steals.
The Wolverines will look to end the losing streak next week as they face two big match-ups in conference, Tuesday @ Neshannock 14-4 (7-3) and then Friday in the Riv-Ell Cup take number 2, home against Riverside 9-9 (3-7).
