Leopards offense soars, Wolverines turnover woes continue as LP wins 77-31

Wolverines Fall to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA)

Although Broc Boariu put 11 points on the scoreboard, Ellwood City fell to Lincoln Park Performing Arts 77-31.

Even though Wolverines added 13 points in the final quarter, they failed to make a comeback.

With a field goal percentage of 36% (4-for-11), Boariu had a great game from the field, also sinking 33% (3-for-9) of threes attempted.

Rocco Sesti sank two three-pointers and scored eight points total. Also chipping in for the Wolverines were Rick Pitrelli (6 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal), Nathan Coonfare (2 points), Milo Sesti (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), and Steve Antuono (2 points, 3 rebounds).

Ellwood City finished the game with 27 rebounds (9 offensive / 18 defensive), two blocks and two steals.

Next up for the Wolverines is a trip tomorrow (SAT) to Farrell where they take on the Steelers at a 2PM tip-off.
