Wolverines have no answer for Leopards offense, look to second half of the season

Although Ryan Gibbons put 12 points on the scoreboard, Ellwood City fell to Lincoln Park Performing Arts 92-46.

With a game-high 16 points during the second quarter, Wolverines finished the first half strong.

Gibbons led the charge for Ellwood’s offense, scoring 12 points, with five points during the second period. He also contributed two rebounds and two steals.

Steve Antuono (8 points), Alexander Roth (8 points), and Rody Polojac (6 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also helping the effort for the Wolverines were Milo Sesti (5 points), Rick Pitrelli (3 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal), Nathan Coonfare (2 points, 1 rebound), and Rocco Sesti (2 points, 2 rebounds).

Ellwood City finished the game with 18 rebounds (7 offensive / 11 defensive) and eight steals.
