Wolverines Lose to Shenango

Ellwood City fell to Shenango on Saturday, 73-47, despite Steve Antuono putting 15 points on the scoreboard.

Scoring a game-high 13 points during the second quarter, Wolverines finished the first half with solid play.

Antuono led Ellwood’s offense with 15 points, including six during the third period.

Alexander Roth (10 points) and Rick Pitrelli (6 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also helping the effort for Lincoln were Broc Boariu (7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals), Rocco Sesti (5 points, 2 rebounds), and Rody Polojac (3 points, 1 rebound).

Ellwood City finished the game with 27 rebounds (8 offensive / 19 defensive), one block and four steals.

Ellwood City now falls to 6-11 (2-7) on the season. Up next for the Wolverines is a non-conference match-up next week as they travel to Farrell on Wednesday.
